GoTo 'scopes may be all the rage, but
digital setting circles (or DSOs) have been around for far longer.
These normally take the form of optical encoders attached to both
axes of your 'scope mount read by a hand controller or interface
connected via a serial cable to your computer. Thanks to a really
useful little digital angle gauge that easily attaches to your
