When I started using a Celestron
NexImage CCD camera on my 'scope I found myself
performing several back of the envelope calculations to work out
what the field of view and pixel resolution would be with a Barlow
lens or focal reducer in place. I figured it would be easier to
write a program to do it, one that you can also use by clicking here. What if you
don't have a NexImage? Fortunately, Celestron's lunar and planetary
imager uses the exact same Sony ICX098BQ CCD chip used by the Philips TouCam
Pro/Pro II, SPC900NC and ATiK Instruments ATK-1C, among others.
Enjoy!
